With more than 100 years of history since 1897 when the modern beommusa lawyer system was established in Korea, the association grew alongside the development of beommusa lawyer system. The association was first established as Korea Association of Judicial Scrivener as a private organization, then grew into a legal corporate body with the same name as the judicial scrivener system was established, and finally became the current Korea Association of Beommusa Lawyer as the Korean name of judicial scrivener was changed to “Beommusa Lawyer”.
